My Contribution to PCA Professionalism

My program goals are to build PCA market value and recognition, to boost professionalism in the Personal Care Aide arena and to prepare learners for a successful and rewarding career in the personal caregiving industry.

Two learning models are offered: PCA general education model and the PCA Apprenticeship model. Under both models I offer comprehensive, content rich, foundation-strong, ethics-in-practice based, individual-care focused, and competency demonstrated training and testing.

Rigorous didactic and clinical skills program components set the ‘gold standard’ for PCA training and emphasize life-long learning.

Learners are encouraged to work hard, maintain a positive attitude and visualize future satisfaction and success

Those who successfully complete all components of either PCA training model will be qualified to market their skills with confidence and pride, to grow personally and professionally, and to expand career opportunities while providing excellent care to our most needy populations – the elderly and disabled.
