PCAT, LLC Receives Department of Labor Approval

I am pleased to report that the training program I have been developing for the past 12+ months has been approved by the DOL for PCA technical training.

As the population of the USA continues to grow proportionately older, caregiver job opportunities abound. But... well-trained caregivers are in very short supply. In recognition of this disparity the DOL, under The National Apprenticeship Program (AKA ApprenticeshipUSA),  has made available to enrolled employers millions of dollars for PCA training. The approved competency-based training model that PCAT offers its employer-partners consists of both theory, clinical practice, and mentorship components. This collaborative training approach between the DOL, enrolled employers and PCAT, LLC assures that future caregivers will deliver the highest level of care...skillfully, ethically and compassionately...to the elderly and disabled citizens of Nevada.

Additionally, PCAT graduates receive a National Occupational Credential from the Department of Labor. This nationally recognized credential certifies occupational proficiency, is portable and can provide a pathway to future learning and career growth.
